About us
Nandi Pointer is currently a fourth year graduate student at University of Colorado in Boulder working on her PhD in media studies. The focus of her dissertation is on the Black male identity, and her documentary focuses on African American males teaching overseas.
One of the key characters of her documentary is her brother Shegun Pointer, a USC Communication graduate who has taught overseas for almost twenty years in Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, and most recently Saudi Arabia.
